RED GARNET from Malawi, unsorted 

These tiny tumbled red GARNETS are a mix of mostly a deep red with some of the thinner pieces being translucent purplish.  They are unsorted which means they may contain a small quantity of other stones or tiny pieces of wood in the stones, although these are very clean.  They have been screened for size and most fit within the size range indicated.  See the pictures for more details on the packages.  They look great in a bowl, for art projects, or as a base to set other stones or objects on. 

SIZE:  Most are from 5 to 8 mm, XXS

WEIGHT:  Each package contains 1 pound of stones.  Garnets are heavy stones so fewer garnets make up one pound compared to most stones.
